Does your business have over $20K in Payroll?

If you are a business operating in the state of Kansas, with a payroll over $20,000, you are required to carry work comp insurance. Many businesses have reached out to our office with questions about a letter they've received from the Kansas Department of Labor the looks like the one below.

If this applies to you, you'll want to handle this situation as quickly as possible. If you have questions about what work comp is, who's considered an employee and if you have to carry work comp, please refer to the Kansas Department of Labor: https://www.dol.ks.gov/wc-faqs
