Today is more than a long weekend, backyard BBQ, or the unofficial start of summer.

Today is about remembering the brave men and women who gave their lives serving our country and honoring the families who continue to carry that sacrifice every single day.

Memorial Day has taken on an even deeper meaning for me as a father with a son currently serving in the military for the past decade. It’s a reminder that freedom has always come at a cost paid by real people, real families, and real communities across America.

As we spend time with family and friends today, let’s also take a moment to pause…

🇺🇸 Honor the families who carry their legacy forward
🇺🇸 Support those who continue to serve today

Today is Tornado Safety Day — and the statewide tornado drill takes place at 11:00 AM CST.

Every school, citizen, and business is encouraged to participate. Treat it like a real warning and practice going to your safe shelter.
