Garden City Community College will not hold classes for Spring Break from Monday, March 16, through Friday, March 20, 2026.

Administrative offices will remain open for regular business hours from Monday, March 16, through Wednesday, March 18. The campus will be closed on Thursday, March 19, and Friday, March 20.

GCCC will reopen, and classes will resume on Monday, March 23, 2026.

Accelacare is offering a $2,000 scholarship and a paid internship as a Hybrid Rehab Tech in the clinic. We’re looking for a few things - a current GCCC student with a GPA of 3.0 or higher, capability and skill with helping others, and the ability to speak both Spanish and English.

We want someone who is ready to be a critical part of the team that makes sure that each patient’s experience is maximized - from beginning to end. We will provide support and training to help people grow into the role.

Job Title: Rehab Technician
Responsibilities include:
- Communicating with patients and therapists, including:
- Greet patients at the beginning of appointments
- Ensure patients are comfortable with their exercises, and relay any observations and feedback to the therapists
- Provide translation services for Spanish speaking patients
- Understanding patient goals and ensuring that they are on track to meet them
- Following up with patients post-discharge to ensure patients are meeting their goals
- Assist with routine cleaning, organization and maintenance
- Sanitize equipment after each use

Requirements:
- Current GCCC student, with a minimum 3.0 GPA
- Part-Time (~20-30 hours per week)
- Bilingual (English / Spanish)
