A torn rotator cuff doesn’t always heal the way you might expect. 👀

When a tendon pulls away from the bone, limited blood supply can make it difficult for the tendon to heal and reattach on its own. For more severe tears, surgery may be needed to reattach the tendon to the bone and restore shoulder function.

Back pain doesn’t always mean surgery.

Dr. Rovner explains how lower back pain can sometimes be traced to irritated facet joints and the medial branch nerves surrounding them.

For the right patient, a medial branch block can help identify the source of pain. If the pain returns, radiofrequency ablation (RFA) may be an option to target those nerves and reduce the pain signals they send.

RFA is a minimally invasive, outpatient procedure that typically takes about 20 to 30 minutes, allowing patients to return home the same day.

A closer look inside shoulder arthroscopy. 🦴

Through small incisions, we can treat problems inside the shoulder like painful bone spurs and labral tears without the need for a large incision.

In this case, the bone spur was contributing to significant shoulder pain and weakness. Arthroscopic techniques allow us to address the source of the problem with minimal blood loss, small incisions, and patients typically returning home just hours after the procedure.

The goal: relieve pain, restore function, and get patients moving again.

Lumbar fusion is designed to stabilize the spine and help reduce pain caused by abnormal movement. 🩻

At Core Alliance, lumbar fusion involves permanently joining two or more vertebrae in the lower spine. By stabilizing the affected area, the procedure can help reduce painful motion, improve spinal stability, and relieve symptoms associated with certain degenerative conditions, instability, or spinal deformities.

Your condition, spinal anatomy, health status, and long-term goals are carefully evaluated to determine whether lumbar fusion is the right option for you.
