With today's storms rolling in, we thought it would be a good time to share a quick reminder about the difference between a Tornado Watch and a Tornado Warning.

🟡 A Tornado Watch means conditions are right for tornadoes to develop. It's your cue to stay weather-aware and keep an eye on forecasts throughout the day.

🔴 A Tornado Warning means a tornado has been spotted or indicated by radar. That's when it's time to take shelter immediately.

If a warning is issued, you'll generally want to head to the lowest level of your home, find an interior room, and stay away from windows and exterior walls. Basements are ideal, but interior bathrooms, closets, and hallways can also provide protection.

Take a few minutes today to make sure your family knows where to go if severe weather strikes, and stay safe out there!
