The Neponset Office door currently only opens manually (no power slide/button to open). Please slide the door oopen to enter or knock and a staff member will be happy to open the door for you.

A service call has been placed to repair the power slide function.

The pleasant weather must be inspiring the scammers too!

We are receiving reports that scammers are spoofing the bank phone number (so the call looks like it is coming from us). The most recent scam caller identified himself as Calvin Lewis and gave a badge number (we don't have a Calvin or badge numbers!) and said he was calling about fraudulent charges on the account made in Atlanta. "Calvin" asked for the debit card number (we already have your debit card number in your file). Luckily, our customer recognized the call as a scam and hung up. We also appreciate when customers alert us to the latest fraud in our service areas so we can all work together to remain vigilant and keep your accounts protected.

You are always safest if you return any call from the bank using the phone number you have on file for your favorite CSB office.

While we're talking....make sure to add a passcode to your account so we can further verify your identity when you call us! Talk to any CSB employee about adding that passcode to your account profile.

Kewanee Main Street ATM Update:
Our second brand new ATM at the Kewanee Main Street office was having issues similar to the new unit that was just installed in January 2025. That led the technicians down the path of investigating the electrical supply to the machine. The electricians were on site this morning and a new breaker is on order to be installed on Tuesday, June 2. We anticipate the Main Street ATM being unavailable until later in the day on Tuesday, June 2. At that point we will have a new electrical supply and a new ATM and we hope service issues will be a nightmare of the past! We appreciate your grace and patience as we have worked to try and bring you reliable ATM service at the Main Street location.

⚠️ These attacks can bypass multi-factor authentication (MFA) by tricking you into entering a login code—even if everything looks legitimate.

How to stay safe:
✅ Never enter a login code unless you requested it
✅ Don’t click links in unexpected emails or messages
✅ Be cautious of emails claiming to be from Microsoft, DocuSign, etc.
✅ Deny any login prompts you didn’t initiate

If something feels off, trust your instincts—don’t click and don’t enter your information.
