It starts with a seed, but it takes a farmer to turn it into something that feeds a community. Today, we’re grateful for the hands that plant, grow, and harvest the food and fiber we depend on. Thank you, farmers, for all you do. Happy National Farmers Day!

We had a great time at Dollywood this week getting the most out of our Farm Bureau discounted tickets (more below). The weather was great, the park was decked out for the Harvest Festival with tons of pumpkins and lights, and the rides were fun as always.

Did you know, as a Farm Bureau of Tennessee member, there are a lot of benefits including discounted Dollywood tickets? There’s also discounts on hotels, rental cars, etc. to help with family trips to the mountains!

Jude and I had a blast at Tennessee Utility Contractors Association’s Dozer Day! It was a hot one, but he’s already asking to go back next year. Thanks to all who made it happen!

Calling all golfers who are sick of the heat. Allison and I went to try out The Putting Zone by 100 Oaks and it was a great time. The course is fun and challenging and the staff is awesome. The best part - 70 degrees the entire time! You don't have to be a serious golfer to enjoy it either. Try them out!
