Big winds the other night….Lightning and Thunder, Heavy rain!
Not the time to be worried about your home insurance.
A lot of companies who are trying to get you the lowest possible rate are now going to a Basic Peril policy.

Why should that matter???

Well….Wind recently blew a tree to where it was leaning toward the house. Two days later (after the storm) the tree falls on the home.
Since it didn’t fall on the home during the storm it is now considered a FALLING OBJECT….not Wind Damage.

BASIC PERILS does not cover falling objects!
