My mother said it began at a very young age and later translated into my desire to become a pediatrician. Life, however, doesn't always go as we planned, but it does lead us down the path we are meant to take. Military life was full of challenges, but it also taught me resiliency, respect for others and most importantly, that there is immeasurable value in family, tradition and culture. The opport
unity to experience the world though a kaleidoscope of customs and cultures instilled a strong appreciation for the beauty of diversity and a stronger desire to make a difference in the lives of others. In pursuit of my dream, I entered the University of Florida in 1981 as a pre-med student. My education got put on hold in 1982, when I married a soldier and later became a mother to three. During my husband's deployment with Desert Storm, I finished my education at Georgia Southern graduating in June 1993 with a bachelor's degree in business management and entrepreneurship. A change in course brought me to Gainesville in the fall of 1993, where I could be closer to family and raise my children. My career began at a local law firm and transitioned to banking in 1995 where I stayed until landing at Edward Jones in 2003. Outside of work, a few of my many interests include spending time with family, sports, outdoor activities and cake decorating. I am fortunate to be part of the Edward Jones family, a company who shares my same values and commitment to helping others. Over the past 17 years, I have honed my skills as a solutions artist. Learning what's important to my clients and then using an established process, we paint a picture of their journey, wherever it may lead and changing paths as often as necessary to help achieve their goals. Together, we navigate the obstacles and celebrate the achievements. Member SIPC
