Medicare Pro tip: Medicare covers a lot of things. So many that Medicare beneficiaries often think that coverage is automatic. However, there are many tests or treatments that Medicare will cover only with a Doctor's order. Tetanus shots, for instance, are covered if you cut yourself but not if you just have not had one in a while. Always, always ask.
