1) If you invested $100k in the S&P 500 in 1999 and didn't touch it until 2019, you would have had $324k in your account. That's an average interest rate of 6.1%
2) If you missed 10 of the best days, your account is only $170k
3) If you missed 20 of the best days, your account is only $110k
4) 6 of the best 10 days occurred within 2 weeks of the 10 worst days

CMS is offering a Special Enrollment Period from March 15 - April 30 through the Federally-Facilitated Marketplace (healthcare.gov). IF you didn't have health insurance in 2014, are having to pay the penalty for NOT having insurance AND you missed the deadline to sign up for 2015 (ended on 2/15/15), you have been given a freebie from the government. Another 45 day enrollment period has been opened for you to enroll for health insurance coverage. Call me with questions. 919-552-4286
