I can’t believe it has already been a year since I opened the doors to Casey Nichols Insurance Group.
This past year has been such a blessing, and I truly could not have done it without the support of my clients, friends, family, and this community. Every person who has trusted me to help with their insurance needs, whether that be Medicare supplements, annuities, life insurance, health coverage, or anything in between, has played a part in making this first year possible. Every referral, shared post, office visit, and word of encouragement has meant more to me than you know.

This is something I feel very strongly about because I have seen how quickly life can change.

When something catastrophic happens, the last thing a family should have to worry about is how they are going to pay for a funeral, keep the lights on, make the house payment, buy groceries, or simply survive financially while they are grieving.

GoFundMe can be a wonderful blessing, and I am thankful that people are willing to step up and help families in difficult times. But GoFundMe should never be the plan.

Your family should not have to depend on the generosity of strangers during one of the hardest moments of their lives.

That is what life insurance is for.

Life insurance is not about leaving someone rich. It is about making sure the people you love have time to grieve without immediately wondering how they are going to pay the bills.

Please do not wait until something happens to realize how important it is.

Have the conversation. Ask the questions. Get something in place.

Even a small policy can make a huge difference to the people you leave behind.

I say this as an insurance agent, but more importantly, I say it as a wife, a mom, a daughter that still picking up the phone only to not have her one the other end, and someone who knows that none of us are promised tomorrow. ❤️

After a few days away being intentional with my time for family, I’ll be back at my desk and ready to help with anything you may need.
Thank you all for being patient with me while I was out. Life has been full lately, but I’m always grateful for the chance to be a momma, support my family, and still come back to a job and clients I truly love.

Casey Nichols Insurance Group will be closed June 22nd through July 1st as we travel to Cary, North Carolina, where Ian and his team will be competing in the USA Baseball Invitational.

As a business owner, I am so grateful for clients who trust me with their insurance needs. As a momma, I am also incredibly thankful for the opportunity to be present for these moments with my child. Watching Ian work hard, compete at this level, and represent his team is something I do not take for granted.

Although the office will be closed, I will still be available by phone or message and will return calls and texts as soon as I am able.

I am so thankful for every client, referral, and new faces walking through the doors of Casey Nichols Insurance Agency. Because my calendar is getting very full over the next several weeks, I am asking that you please call or message ahead to schedule an appointment.
This helps me make sure each person gets the time, attention, and care they deserve, whether we are reviewing Medicare options, life insurance, Marketplace coverage, retirement planning, or just answering questions.

Walk-ins are always welcome when I’m available, but an appointment is the best way to make sure I can sit down with you without rushing.

Life has a beautiful way of coming full circle.
In this photo, a young lady sits at her bridal shower reading a card, wearing the same veil I wore as a bride years ago… in the very wedding where she stood as my mini bride.
That little girl grew up.
The veil came back around.
The memories became milestones.
And moments like this remind us just how precious time really is.
We plan for weddings. We plan for showers. We plan for birthdays, ballgames, vacations, and holidays. But sometimes we avoid planning for the one thing none of us want to think about:
What happens when you are no longer here to care for your family?
It is uncomfortable. It is emotional. But it is also one of the most loving conversations you can have.
Because love is not just showing up in the big moments. Love is making sure your family is protected in the hardest ones.
GoFundMe is good for emergencies, but should not be relied on as life insurance. Your family deserves more than uncertainty. They deserve a plan. They deserve time to grieve without the added weight of financial fear.
We tell ourselves, “I’ll do it later.”
But do we really have later? Do we know when our last day on earth is?
Life is beautiful. Family is sacred. And protecting them is not about fear — it is about love that continues, even when we cannot.
Let’s have the conversation now, while we still can.

We will be closed on Monday, May 25th in observance of Memorial Day to pause to remember and honor the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country.

Their sacrifice is one we will never take lightly.
