Tricnology The study of Tric's path crossing yours As our paths cross. I dabble in many sources of information and consider myself helpful in many arenas.

MY NEW VENTURE IS TRAVEL. How travel is beneficial to your body, soul and spirit. How understanding guidelines can reduce stress of traveling and much more. My past informational venues were Technology or Tricnology as some of us call it, varies widely. After years of research and practicing healing through various techniques while working in food service, tourism management, mortgage LO, and IT, I

was introduced to the field of healing as a profession. Massage health benefits are continuing to unfold as I learn more about the body's amazing matrix. Structural integration through movement and manipulation combined with vita-flex acupressure, reike, cranial sacral, and other techniques assist the body in long term relaxation. My main goal is to offer permanent relief from chronic pain and retrain the body to experience optimum function. The body heals itself. I am only a facilitator. a good one I might add... I can be found at Gateway's Mini Spa and Salon in Fort Myers. I also teach Continuing Ed for Myofascial Meridian work. Or inbox me for other options. Always here to help.

Neuroscientist: this is how I healed my brain 🎨 These 14 actions changed everything for me. If you do one of them for the next 7 days, 100% the best one would be eating without stimulation. Eating is supposed to be deeply calming for humans. The act of eating activates your parasympathetic nervou...

Hydrated fascia moves with you. Dehydrated fascia holds you back.

Your fascia is the connective tissue network that supports, stabilizes, and transfers force throughout the entire body.

When it’s healthy and hydrated, movement feels smooth, elastic, and efficient.

When it becomes stiff and dehydrated, the body loses resilience, mobility, and energy transfer.

For athletes, this can mean reduced performance, slower recovery, and higher injury risk.

For everyone else, it can mean stiffness, aches, poor movement quality, and a decline in overall quality of life.

Movement, hydration, recovery, and proper training all influence the health of your fascia.

Train your connective tissue not just for performance, but for longevity.

Follow for more.

Your fascia might be one of the most sensitive sensory organs in your body.

For a long time, pain in the body was mostly attributed to muscles and joints.

But research over the last couple of decades has shifted that understanding.

Scientists now know that fascia, the connective tissue network that wraps and links everything in the body, contains a very high density of sensory receptors.

These include:

• Nociceptors – receptors that detect pain
• Mechanoreceptors – receptors that detect pressure and stretch
• Proprioceptors – receptors that help your brain know where your body is in space
• Interoceptors – receptors that sense internal states within the body

This means fascia isn’t just structural “packing material.”

It functions more like a body-wide communication network.

A system that constantly sends information to the brain about:

movement
pressure
position
tension
and internal state.

Understanding fascia changes the way we think about the body.

Because pain, tension, and movement aren’t isolated to one place.

They exist within a connected sensory system.

Your body isn’t a collection of separate parts.

It’s a living network of communication.

Have you ever had pain that seemed to move or travel through the body?
