The Fed voted to hold policy rates at the current level at their June meeting, though half of the members expect a policy rate hike in 2026.

The Fed doesn't control mortgage rates directly, and economic or geopolitical events are more likely to have an impact on mortgage rates at this time. If you want to discuss whether now is the right time for you to make a move, please reach out.

June is National Homeownership Month, and it always makes me pause and reflect on why I chose this career.
