You Are Fed Chair. What’s Your Move?

The Fed has gathered in Jackson Hole, WY, for its annual Economic Policy Symposium this week. And yes, most of them get to stay at the Jackson Lake Lodge. That place looks AMAZING. Although it only has a 4.4 Google rating… so apparently even central bankers must deal with mediocre reviews… ???? Jackson Lake Lodge Tomorrow, Fed Chair Warsh takes the stage, and markets will be listening closely....

Over the years, when you looked up your home on your County's Central Appraisal District (CAD), the value could seem a little SUS. That's trendy kid speak for suspicious. I'm trying to stay young here! People would say, “Take the CAD value and add $5,000 or $10,000, and that's probably close to market value.” Then that completely flipped. Suddenly CAD seemed to think we were all living in mega mansions, with 10%, 20% and even 30% increases showing up year after year....
