🏠 Loan terms
🧾 Taxes & insurance estimates
💵 Your total monthly payment
If you’re comparing lenders, don’t be afraid to say:
“Hey, another lender quoted me this. Can you help me understand the difference?”
A good lender should be willing to walk through the numbers with you and help you compare apples to apples - not just compete over who can advertise the lowest rate.
At the end of the day, look at the whole loan, not just the rate.

Despite some speculation they would increase their policy rate, the Federal Reserve Board voted to hold the rate steady at their July meeting.
