God doesn’t always prepare you for greatness by giving you blessings, opportunities, or immediate success. Sometimes, He prepares you through obstacles, adversity, and battles that seem impossible to overcome. David had to face Goliath before he could become king, just as you must face challenges that develop your strength, faith, discipline, and character. The struggles you’re experiencing aren’t necessarily setbacks; they may be preparation for something greater. Don’t mistake a difficult season for a lack of God’s favor. Sometimes the very battle you’re facing is what qualifies you for the blessing you’re praying for.
