When I started in the bail bonds business back in the late 1980s the company that I work for would have me take so-called Dead Files and try to bring them back to life and make us some money and get the client out of jail. I was very good at this and it shows because I would often make over $1,000 for 48 hours worth of work back in the 1980s. I would off and get people out of jail where other bail agent said tried and failed and just not had any success. I feel that I am a very good negotiator I can sometimes work my way around problem always getting to the finish line. Today I had a bail call from a guy who's in jail for a misdemeanor and it is a $10,000 bail. Did you send in is a oil driller so he may be all over the United States or all over California at any given time and may possibly miss court. The Descendants has a brother who is going to pay the money to get him out of jail but not willing to cosign a agreement saying that the defendant will make his appearances in court in 3 or 4 months. After the defendant call the brother I told the defendant to let me speak to the brother and maybe I can somehow work my way around the problem. The mother of The defendant works as a convalescent home worker. Anyone who has ever worked in a convalescent home though is that it is a mentally and physically hard job. I explained to the brother that maybes a mother if she didn't have to actually come in or do anything out of her normal routine would possibly sign for herself because she gave birth to him and it is only a misdemeanor he is definitely not going back to jail once he gets out of trouble today. The brother explained to me that after I talk to him I made him feel more comfortable that he will now contact the mother and have the mother call me and the defendant will get out of jail.
I feel this is my real skill in life being able to negotiate never being set in stone.
