As Halloween reminds us, not everything is always what it seems.

A wealth plan can look complete on the surface, organized, funded, and seemingly all set, while quietly hiding costly fee structures, overlooked tax exposure, or coverage gaps that only reveal themselves when it counts.

A second look can help uncover what's beneath the surface and give you greater confidence that your plan is working as hard as you are. Give us a call, and we will take a closer look together.

Building your savings does not always require major lifestyle changes. Often, a few consistent habits can make a meaningful difference over time. Consider these practical ways to strengthen your financial future:

🔹Automate your savings by directing a portion of each paycheck into a dedicated savings or investment account before you have a chance to spend it.

🔹Set aside funds in your budget for predictable expenses, including taxes, annual bills, or business-related costs, so you're prepared when they come due.

🔹Take a closer look at your spending habits and identify opportunities to reduce unnecessary purchases that may be slowing progress toward your goals.

🔹Review your financial picture regularly. Monitoring your savings, investments, and overall net worth can help you stay focused and make adjustments when needed.

🔹Create specific savings goals for both the short and long term. Having a clear target can make it easier to stay motivated and build momentum.

Everyone's financial journey is different, but developing strong saving habits is a great place to start. If you'd like guidance on creating a savings strategy that aligns with your goals, contact us today.

Many affluent families assume they can simply pay for future care expenses out of pocket. While substantial assets may provide flexibility, long-term care (LTC) planning is about much more than covering a bill. It is about protecting your lifestyle, preserving your legacy, and ensuring your broader financial strategy remains intact. Swipe to learn more.

If long-term care planning has not been reviewed recently as part of your wealth strategy, contact us to discuss how it fits into your overall financial plan.

The 2027-2028 FAFSA is open as of October 1, 2026. If you or a student you support plans to attend college during the 2027–2028 academic year, it is a good idea to get started on the process early. So, with that in mind, our team wanted to share a few early steps that can help streamline the process:

🔹Create or verify your StudentAid.gov account.
🔹Gather essential financial documentation, including 2025 tax returns, W-2s, and income records.
🔹Determine which parent(s) or contributor(s) will be required to provide information, if necessary.
🔹Review college, state, and scholarship deadlines, as many institutions award aid on a first-come, first-served basis.

While the federal FAFSA deadline is June 30, 2028, many colleges and states set earlier priority deadlines for aid consideration, so submitting your application early can improve access to institutional, state, and need-based aid.

If you have questions about college funding strategies or how education expenses align with your overall financial plan, please contact our office. We are here to assist you.
