Criminals are impersonating banks and payment apps and contacting people by phone, text, or email. They often claim there is suspicious activity and pressure you to act quickly.

Red flags include:
🔹 Requests for login information or one-time verification codes
🔹 Links asking you to sign in immediately
🔹 Messages that create urgency

Remember, banks will never ask for passwords or one-time Secure Access Codes. If something feels suspicious, hang up and contact your bank directly using a trusted number. Protecting our Bay Area community starts with awareness.
