Our Sterling branch is proud to be a Toys for Tots donation site for the Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots holiday campaign!

Last year, Toys for Tots made an incredible impact in the Whiteside community:
🧸 3,040 toys distributed
❤️ 1,025 children supported

Help us make the holidays a little brighter for local children this year! Drop off a new, unwrapped toy by December 2, 2026, at:

Cornerstone Credit Union
615 West 3rd Street
Sterling, IL

Every toy can help put a smile on a child’s face. Let’s show what our community can do and help make this a wonderful holiday season for local kids!

Happy Columbus Day from all of us at Cornerstone Credit Union! Our offices are closed today, Monday, October 12, in observance of the holiday. While our branches aren’t open to the public, our team is attending an all-day training session at our Freeport office to continue improving the service we provide our Members.

🚗 You may notice cars at that location, but please know the credit union remains closed for the day.
💻 Don’t forget – you can still access your accounts anytime through Online Banking, our Mobile App, or any ATM.

🔐 Is your password doing enough to protect you?

Your password is one of the first lines of defense against fraud and identity theft. But with so many accounts to keep track of, it can be tempting to reuse the same password or choose something easy to remember.

October is Cybersecurity Awareness Month. Take a few minutes to strengthen your passwords! The National Cybersecurity Alliance shares simple tips for creating strong, unique passwords, and remembering them, too.

👉 Learn how to create stronger passwords:

A few extra minutes today could help keep your accounts and personal information safer tomorrow.

Stay alert. Stay secure.

Our team is having fun celebrating Dolly Parton today!

Help keep Dolly’s legacy of inspiring a love of reading alive by visiting the United Way of Northwest Illinois and learning more about the Imagination Library – a program Dolly created to help put books in the hands of children and inspire a lifelong love of reading.
