When is the Best Time to Build New Construction in Florida

Living in Florida brings many sunshiny days but with that comes the heat, humidity, and hurricane season. When you start looking to build, there are many factors that play in your timeline and seasonal climate should be one of them.

In Summer, temperatures and humidity run high so building in this heat might not be ideal, however, it’s not impossible if the right precautions are taken. BUT It’s also the middle of hurricane season so building with the potential to for destruction is a risk you must consider.

Fall

Fall brings mild temperatures and the end of hurricane season, but it also brings shorter days to complete construction. However, as hurricane season comes to an end in November, Fall is a great time to start building your dream home.

Wintertime

Winters in Florida typically tend to be mild with bursts of cold. For this reason, Winter is also not a bad time to start and complete a build, but plan to take some time off if the temperatures dip too low to work effectively and safely.

The weather forecast in Northwest Florida remains conducive for the rapid spread of any outside fires on Wednesday, October 19.

South Walton Fire District strongly advises against outdoor burning at this time. Keep vehicles off of dry grass and properly discard all smoking materials.

Please note: SWFD does not issue burn permits in our jurisdiction. Burn permits are under the authority of our local Florida Forest Service (FFS) office. If you have questions or inquiries about burn permits, please contact FFS at 850-373-1801.

Do your part to prevent wildfires. Avoid outdoor burning until weather conditions become less threatening to our heavily-forested communities.

Responsibilities
Leendorf Major Holding company is seeking to hire a Marketing Web Designer. This position will work closely with leaders and project managers to ensure our projects meet specified requirements, timelines, and budgets. We are a fast-paced, execution-driven organization company.

Responsibilities include:
• Research, design, and implement technical specifications for projects based on user requirements as indicated in the scope of work, wireframes, and sitemap documents
• Ensure projects are built to meet performance, security, and functional requirements
• Development and maintenance of websites, intranets, applications, and other custom programming assignments as applicable
• Stay up to date on industry standards and incorporate them appropriately.
• Assist with testing, debugging, documentation, and overall quality assurance of projects

Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Information Systems, Computer Science, related field, or equivalent industry work experience
• At least 2+ years of experience with WordPress development experience
• Must be Google Ads certified.
• Ability to work with Adobe Creative Cloud Applications.
• Advanced knowledge and development experience in PHP, CSS/HTML, JavaScript, jQuery (and/or similar JS libraries)
• ASP and web servers (ISS/Apache) are a plus
• Experience in custom web application development
• Ability to understand business requirements and the non-technical reasoning behind decisions or positions and present a clear, rational argument in favor of a proposed solution
• Advanced troubleshooting and debugging skills
• Ability to clearly and effectively communicate technical solutions to non-technical people
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail
• Punctuality
• Be able to work as a team and follow basic instructions
