As our local farmers work hard to bring in this year's harvest, please keep the following in mind on your daily commute:

🌽 Slow down when approaching farm equipment.
🚜 Be patient! Large machinery moves slowly and may make wide turns.
⚠️ Never pass farm equipment unless it's safe and legal to do so.
❤️ Give our farmers the space they need to get home safely to their families.

A little patience goes a long way during harvest season. Let's work together to keep our farmers, families, and communities safe!

🔥 October is Fire Prevention Month, and this week is Fire Prevention Week!

This year’s NFPA theme is “Charge Into Fire Safety™: Safe Charging Is a Superpower.” 🔋⚡

With phones, tablets, laptops, e-bikes, power tools and other rechargeable devices becoming part of everyday life, Fire Prevention Week is a great reminder to practice safe charging habits at home.

A few simple steps can make a big difference: use the correct charger for your device, avoid charging devices on beds or couches, and replace damaged cords or batteries.

Protecting your home starts with prevention. 🏡🔥

🎉 Happy 1-Year Work Anniversary to Parker Knoll! 🎉

Parker is a valued part of our Freedom office, working closely with both our Personal and Commercial Lines teams. Parker is always willing to learn, lend a hand, and jump in wherever he’s needed and he’s simply a great person to have on our team!

🚗 Have a new driver in the house? Let us know!

We know adding a youthful driver to your auto policy isn’t exactly something anyone gets excited about, but waiting to tell your insurance agent can create a much bigger headache later.

If your teen is licensed and regularly driving, give us a call so we can make sure your policy is updated correctly. If we don’t find out until a year later, the insurance company may account for the time they’ve already been driving, which can mean a large, unexpected premium adjustment all at once.

We’d much rather help you plan for the cost now than have you surprised by a big bill later!

A little rain couldn’t stop the fun at Burger Fest!

Thank you to everyone who stopped by the office to say hi, hang out, and enjoy the day with us! Despite the rainy weather, we had such a great time with our staff, families, friends, clients, and the Seymour community.

🎉 Happy 5-Year Work Anniversary to Brian Schmitz! 🎉

As of September 20th, Brian has 5 years with Family Insurance Center and an incredible 34 years in the insurance industry!

Brian is a huge part of our Chilton office and truly a pit of knowledge for both our insureds and his coworkers. Whether it’s answering a tough insurance question, sharing his years of experience, or helping someone find the right solution, Brian is always someone our team can count on.

We’re incredibly grateful for the knowledge, dedication, and experience Brian brings to FIC every day.

UPDATE: WE ARE BACK UP AND RUNNING! THANK YOU!

Our Hortonville location is currently closed due to power outage. All calls are still being diverted to other offices, so call into your normal office number and calls will be handled as they come in. We will update when the office back up and running.
