60 day delay in crop insurance interest payments for 2026 spring crops announced

At Minnesota Farmfest, Secretary Rollins today announced several steps USDA is taking to support America's farmers, including a series of listening sessions across the country to hear directly from farmers as USDA rolls out a Data Modernization Plan across multiple agencies.

Additionally she announced two key crop insurance updates through USDA Risk Management Agency, giving farmers 60 extra interest-free days to pay premiums and restoring the option for an additional 5% in prevented-planting coverage.
