The House has approved legislation allowing year-round nationwide sales of E-15, handing corn, sorghum and ethanol groups a major policy win.

Lawmakers passed the Nationwide Consumer and Fuel Retailer Choice Act Wednesday by a 218-to-203 vote. Supporters say the measure would expand domestic demand for grain while offering consumers another lower-cost fuel option.

One step closer to a new farm bill

BREAKING NEWS: The Farm Bill has passed the House with a 224 to 200 vote.

Lawmakers approved the measure after a series of floor debates and last-minute amendments. The bill moved through a day of intense negotiations over key issues including ethanol policy, nutrition programs, and agricultural regulations.

It now heads to the Senate.

USDA is maximizing disaster assistance support through a second Supplemental Disaster Relief Program (SDRP) payment to eligible producers. Application deadline has been extended to Aug. 12, 2026.

Farmers in Morrow and Marion counties are concerned and upset as the Ohio Department of Transportation evaluates a potential connector between U.S. 23 and Interstate 71. The state-required feasibility study has narrowed potential routes to three options in Marion and Morrow counties. And while still
