THIS!!!! This is an almost daily conversation with clients and something I wish I could talk to everyone about. While it stinks insurance is not a maintenance plan for your home. Be mindful when thinking about replacing your roof or if a contractor approaches you with a deal that sounds too good to be true. If you have a question about a potential claim or damage call your insurance agent FIRST! We are here to help, make recommendations, review coverage, and can help refer reputable companies to help repair your roof!

Watch out for "free roof" offers. You should proceed with caution when approached by roofing contractors with unsolicited offers to inspect your roof for damage in order to generate an insurance claim.
