We’re pleased to announce that our board of directors has appointed Christopher Cook to serve as the bank’s next President & CEO upon Karen Gregerson’s retirement in September.
He’s a lifelong resident of central Indiana, and is currently on First Federal Savings Bank’s (Huntington) leadership team. He spent most of his career at MutualBank in Muncie, where he eventually became Chief Financial Officer. He’s also a CPA.
His expertise impressed the board, but what sealed the deal was his dedication to serving the community. He shares our philosophy that a community bank like The Farmers Bank is only as strong as the communities it serves.
In the coming months, he’ll get to know our employees, our customers, and the communities we serve. We hope you’ll have the opportunity to meet him!
