Over the last several weeks we've been transitioning our name change. Some letters have gone out and the phone has been answered differently. But today it kinda became real with the signage change. After 60 years with the Novotny name in one form or another as our agency name, we felt it was time to change the name to better reflect current ownership and the relationship with our Fowler office. For over six years, Kyle D. Conrad has been a co-owner and/or owner of Novotny and Associates. In addition, he has owned THE CONRAD AGENCY in Fowler for over 10 years. That agency is the successor agency to The G&G Agency and Insurance Center, both in Fowler, Garrott-Keller Agency in Brookston, and the Lah Insurance Agency in Goodland. And now our Francesville location will also be known by the same name. Our staff of Noah Way, Shannon Sayler, and Tammy Conley will remain the same as will virtually everything else. Our name change will better represent our ownership and will allow our daily operation to be more efficient. Just like the day Wayne Moncel and Kyle acquired the Novotny business from Gene and Pam Timm, we are excited for this next chapter and look forward to the opportunities that lie ahead of us with our Francesville office of THE CONRAD AGENCY!

A little refresh is going on at the Francesville office. Some new paint in a couple rooms and new carpet throughout the building. Kyle even has an office to work from now. Stop in and say hi next week after all of the commotion is over and see our new look!

After five years of partnership owning and operating Novotny and Associates together, Kyle Conrad has purchased the remaining interest in the Francesville based insurance agency from his partner, Wayne Moncel, effective July 1, 2023. Wayne will continue to operate the Wayne Moncel Agency, along with his wife Hazel, at 114 W Montgomery Street in Francesville. Novotny and Associates customers will still see and hear the same familiar faces and voices as they have in the past. Licensed agents Noah Way and Shannon Sayler and customer service representative Tammy Conley will continue to serve our customers along with Kyle. But in addition, Kyle will bring additional insurance carriers to the Francesville location as well as more licensed insurance agent resources with his Conrad Agency staff in Fowler; Kelly Unger, Paige Zollman, and Gisele Dewing. The staff at Novotny and Associates and The Conrad Agency looks forward to working with all of our clients, existing and new, to serve their complete insurance needs.
