From incubator to brooder..so far half the eggs have hatched early 😍

Good morning world, welcome to mud season 2021..while the field is beginning to green up ever so slowly it’s the first sign of spring I look for. We have 6 new kids this season one is out of the nursery already the other 5 need to be just a little bigger so they don’t get caught in the electric mesh fencing. Chickens are working extra hard to help contribute for their keep. Laying close to 6 dozen eggs a day..available here for sale on the farm $3.00 a dz..there’s an “honor” box out front to purchase from. I also take orders and can deliver within a reasonable distance. We will have processed whole birds again this year for sale. Get ready to stock your freezers 😁. All of our chickens are free range and pastured from the egg laying hens to the meat birds.
Spirit in the sky farm continues to do things the old fashioned way 🤗 some animals come to the farm to live out their final days of life in peace and love , others (like the meat chickens) although they are grown for food they too enjoy their lives and freedom. If you know of anyone who has a farm animal that needs a good home please contact me . If we can make it fit into the mix we’ll accept it. Our goats work hard at clearing brush for pasture, the horse has become the self appointed guardian to the goats. We call her the “warden”.
Eggs are available at 51 south killingly rd, foster ..big red barn with egg signs out at the driveway.
