Last week was a good reminder of something that's always been important to me.

I had the opportunity to serve the teachers of Burleson ISD during Scoop of Appreciation and then work alongside my colleagues at New York Life packing meals for children around the world at Feed My Starving Children.

I just don't think there's anything greater than serving others. It has a way of filling your own cup until it overflows.

It's so easy to get caught up in our own schedules, responsibilities, and goals. But when we take our focus off ourselves and invest in someone else, it changes us too.

I think that's why I love serving so much. It's not just about what you're able to give, it's about the perspective, gratitude, and joy you receive in return.

I'm grateful for opportunities like these and for a company that encourages us to make a difference in our communities.

☕ Tuesday's Coffee Conversation

Tomorrow morning I'll be at Daydream Coffee from 8:30-10:00 AM.

This week's question:

What does success mean to you today, and how has it changed over the years?

If you're in the area, stop by, grab a coffee, and share your answer. I'd love to hear your perspective.

A business partnership without a plan can get messy fast. Just ask the famous couple who once bought a home and winery together… then split up, skipped the paperwork, and watched the whole thing spiral into a legal tug-of-war. One even ended up sharing his personal residence with a stranger tied to the sale. Not exactly the happily-ever-after they expected.
All of it could have been avoided with a simple buy-sell agreement to lay out what happens if an owner leaves – through death, divorce, disability, retirement, or simply wanting out – so the business keeps running smoothly and everyone knows their rights. Watch this video to learn more about how a buy-sell agreement works, and then let’s make sure your business interests are protected.

In this brief video, you will explore the crucial importance of buy-sell agreements for your business. These agreements are like insurance policies for your company, ensuring its stability and protecting the interests of co-owners. Don't wait until it's too late – watch now to secure your business...

There’s something special about seeing kids light up with excitement for summer.

Last week, I had the opportunity to attend Meet the Counselors Night for Brick’s Summer Camp, and it was such a joy watching so many children eager for the memories, friendships, and fun that summer camp brings. You could feel the energy in the room—the countdown to summer officially began.

A big thank you to Raising Cane's Chicken Fingers for making the night even sweeter by gifting every child a free kids meal. Small acts of generosity like that leave a lasting impression on families and our community.

Here’s to a summer filled with laughter, growth, adventure, and kids simply getting to be kids.
