In mortgage, a lot of times loan estimates and quotes can be misleading. You will find that in the media and headlines as well. What do you think about the news of Fort Worth lowering the property tax rate? Great right? Take a look a the chart and let me know your thoughts- is it a fair trade? The overall total cost out of pocket is rising. Other areas get more funding (I assume). What do we think? Leave a comment!

The biggest lesson I’ve learned this year, mostly watching, but participating in advocacy for a bill to get passed into law in DC, is that more citizens need to be involved and be a part of the process.

If you live in does a great job highlighting a ton of things going on around town and the inner workings of the local government. Stay connected! Officials will actually listen to concerns, but only if they are brought to them.

What are your favorite sources or accounts to stay connected in the FW area?

This is a look at the average conventional 30 yr mortgage rate over the last 1 month heading into the 2 day FED meeting beginning today with a rate decision coming tomorrow afternoon.

Most “experts” have said that rates will remain still or even tick higher, because a 25 basis point cut has already been priced into the market. Today the markets opened flat basically, just -5bps, which could signal they are right.

What do you notice? Comment and give me your prediction of what the market does next!

AND:

If you are interested in locking in a rate for a purchase or refinance anytime soon, I would love to talk over strategy and the benefits of using me as a broker. I have dozens of reliable lenders, and am not stuck with just 1 rate sheet like a big lender can be.

I can help you:
