Do they hear you? Sometimes the biggest challenge in digital presence isn’t what you’re saying… it’s whether anyone is actually hearing it. ~~ Your digital presence and online reputation are shaping opinions long before the first conversation ever happens. People are looking you up, forming impressions, and deciding whether your message connects with them.

Two quick reminders:
• Consistency matters more than occasional big moments. A steady presence builds familiarity and strengthens reputation over time.
• If your content sounds like everyone else, people scroll right past it. Personality and authenticity are what make people stop and listen.
Digital presence isn’t just about being seen… it’s about making sure your reputation and message actually connect.

I'm incredibly grateful for my journey, both ups and downs, the past few years....Now today, I am prividged to be in a place where I get to do what I love to do, surrounded by people I deeply care about, who are just as committed to helping others and making a difference on this big blue marble we call home.

~~ One of the most misunderstood aspects of Digital Presence by business professionals, is the lack of ROI. Digital presence is not measured like lead generation or paid ads. It is your visibility, credibility, and reputation shaping decisions before anything is ever tracked. Most prospects, including referrals, look you up first. It is 2026. What they find determines whether the meeting happens and how it starts. An outdated or inconsistent presence creates friction and raises questions.
Consistency builds familiarity. Familiarity builds confidence and that shows up before the first conversation..... not on a spreadsheet ............... Be Present.

The real question is simple. What are people finding when they look you up?

~~ Lead generation vs. digital presence — Understanding how they are not the same thing.
Lead generation is about creating activity. Ads, funnels, and campaigns designed to drive immediate response. Digital presence is about positioning. What people find when they look you up, how you show up, and whether that first impression builds confidence or creates doubt.
One drives attention.
The other determines what happens next.
Most advisors don’t lose opportunities because they lack leads. They lose them in the gap between interest and engagement.

That gap is digital presence.

Get in the car or stay in the driveway. ~~ Everyone talks about where they want to go. Fewer are willing to actually move toward their destination. Precision and ex*****on are what separate intention from progress. The direction matters, but the discipline to move forward is what gets you there.

There comes a point where you stop chasing things just because you think you’re supposed to… and you start asking yourself why any of it matters. Finding your 'Why' isn’t loud. It’s not some big moment instead quiet and personal. It shows up in the way you start caring a little more, showing up a little earlier, staying a little longer… not because you have to, but because something inside you says this matters. My why is to help and that feels good. And when that happens, the work changes and that’s what it feels like to find your home in what you do.

~~ Looking at the photo has me remembering the great time spent with some outstanding leaders from First Command. One of the things that stands out most about this work is the people you get to learn from, collaborate with, and grow alongside.

A single dad has to do things different and zoom and chaos rule the day many times....However, as Thanksgiving approaches, I’m grateful for the calm afternoons, loyal pups, and kids who find their own rhythm in the middle of a busy season. These simple scenes at home ~~ the warmth, the stillness, and the people and pets who make life feel full ~~ are what remind me what the holidays are really about.

~~ looking back at some pics and this one from last night popped at me.... we had dinner at Villa Nova together as a family. Nothing fancy, just good food, real conversation, and the kind of moments that remind you how special it is to have them close. Sometimes I think about how my family doesn't exactly look like I thought to would, but I am so thankful for both Em and Elaina.... Grateful for every bit of time we get to share.
