Originally from Virginia, Andrew relocated to the Dallas–Fort Worth area in 1996 and now proudly calls Benbrook, Texas home. He lives there with his wife, Rena, and their children, building a life centered around faith, family, and community. Their home is often a gathering place for neighbors and friends, where they enjoy hosting large get-togethers and creating meaningful connections with those around them.

Driven, self-motivated, and genuinely passionate about helping others, Andrew is known for his strong work ethic, genuine care for people, and ability to build lasting relationships. He holds a bachelor’s degree from Nelson University.

Andrew has a long history of serving the Fort Worth community and is passionate about making a positive impact in the lives of those around him. He brings a strong sense of compassion and a genuine desire to see others succeed, always looking for ways to encourage, support, and help people reach their potential.

Known for his sense of humor and easygoing personality, Andrew has a natural ability to put people at ease. Whether he’s meeting someone for the first time or catching up with an old friend, he has a way of making people feel welcome and turning strangers into friends.

Andrew is also a natural-born teacher who enjoys helping others understand the why behind the process. He is passionate about educating his clients, answering questions, and making sure they feel informed and confident throughout the buying or selling experience.

Outside of real estate, Andrew enjoys playing golf, spending time with his kids, traveling to the beach, and hosting friends and family.

🏡 Mortgage Market Update | September 14, 2026

Mortgage rates are heading into the week higher than where we started September, with the 30-year fixed rate now hovering around the 7% mark. Rates have moved higher over the past week as inflation concerns and rising bond yields continue to put pressure on mortgage rates.

Current national averages are approximately:

🔹 FHA 30-Year: ~6.75%
🔹 30-Year Fixed: ~7.17%
🔹 15-Year Fixed: ~6.70%
🔹 VA 30-Year: ~6.77%

Rates vary by lender, borrower qualifications, credit, loan type, points, and other factors.

📊 What This Means for Buyers:

Yes, rates are higher than many buyers would like. But higher rates don't mean buyers should automatically press pause.

Today’s market can still create opportunities that weren't as common during the highly competitive seller-driven years.
