This race meant the world to me. It was my very first one, but more importantly, it was born from a desire to transform the loss of my son, Damani, into something positive. Damani was bold, confident, and loved a challenge. In his honor, my friends and I formed Team Damani so he could "compete" with us. It's been the best thing for me and my friends, and a beautiful way to keep his memory alive every step of the way. ❤️🏃‍♂️
