As the temperatures drop, having a warm coat and winter gear can make a big difference for a child. This September, Summit Choice Credit Union is partnering with the Fort Wayne Community Schools Clothing Bank to help make sure local students have the winter essentials they need. Throughout the month of September, we're collecting new or gently used, smoke-free winter clothing, including:

🧥Coats
🏔️Hats
🧤Gloves
🧣Scarves.

Donations will be provided to FWCS students who are experiencing poverty or have been impacted by a personal tragedy, such as a house fire or flood. While children's sizes are especially needed, donations in all sizes are welcome.

Bring your donation to any Summit Choice Credit Union branch between September 1–30, 2026.

Let's come together as a community and help ensure that every child has something warm to wear this winter. When we take care of our neighbors, our whole community gets stronger ❤️.

We were excited to join the Fort Wayne Police Department and local first responders for National Night Out. It was a great opportunity to connect with our neighbors, meet some new faces, and show our appreciation for the people who serve and protect our community.
