Help! Our shelves are becoming bare. We are almost down to our last few cans of ground wet dog food.

If you are able to donate, anything helps! We will provide a link to an example of a type of ground wet dog food we receive and is favored by our dogs. Any brand is welcome, the dogs just seem to prefer the ground kind versus chunks/gravy. https://a.co/d/j4mr5dM

You can ship directly to our shelter at 3020 Hillegas Rd, Fort Wayne, IN 46808. If you’d like to drop off in person, we are open on our business/intake side Mon-Fri from 11 am - 6 pm.

This handsome gentleman is Ace! 🤎 He is searching for a loving family to come adopt him and our friends Julie and Doug of Carroll Team, Douglas and Julie Carroll, NMLS 173634 / 272049 have kindly taken care of his adoption fee!

"I'm a very sweet, wiggly boy who LOVES getting lots of pets and attention. The only thing that I might love more is food. If I have some yummy treats around me, those take priority. I'm also a very smart boy and already know "sit" and "shake!"

I can be a little selective with my dog friends, so be sure to bring any current dogs in the home with you to meet me to see if we are a good match."

Ace is a 2 year old neutered male who is up-to-date on vaccines, microchipped, heartworm disease tested negative, comes with a starter bag of food, free vet exam at participating vets, and a training certificate.

This simple recipe can help you recreate that amazing pumpkin spice flavor you love right at home, any time you want!

Ingredients:
• ½ cup brown sugar
• 1 teaspoon cinnamon
• ½ teaspoon nutmeg
• 6 cloves
• ¼ cup pumpkin puree

Instructions:
1. Combine ¾ cup of water and the brown sugar in a saucepan on medium heat, and stir together until the sugar dissolves.
2. Reduce the heat to low, and add in the cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, and pumpkin puree. Mix until well-combined.
3. Allow the mixture to simmer for 5 minutes, and then strain through a fine mesh strainer. Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2 weeks.
