A man called recently — a referral from a past client. He was ready to bulldoze through the Medicare process and "just get it over with."

It took a little time, but I was able to ask a few questions and truly understand his situation.

Turns out?

He didn’t need Medicare at all.

He could stay on his wife’s employer plan, save several thousand dollars a year, and delay enrollment without penalty. I even walked him through the process of turning off Part B.

A week later, he called again. He’d met with another agent who tried to convince him otherwise.

He told me that moment made it clear who he could trust — and asked for cards to pass out in his neighborhood.

The Vikings Baseball Club is a part-time travel baseball program that supports the Huntington County Baseball and Softball (HCBS) Little League chapter. The program is open to anyone who resides in Huntington County or attends a school in the Huntington County Community School Corporation. The player did not have to play at HCBS in 2024, but will have to commit to playing league at HCBS in 2025.

Players for the 13U team should be age 13 & under. Players cannot turn 14 before May 1, 2025.

We hope to add additional age groups in both baseball and fastpitch in the future.

I had the privilege of attending the grand opening and ribbon cutting for Lutheran Health Huntington. What a wonderful addition to our community. It's an honor to be invited to such an esteemed event and witness the commitment to enhancing healthcare right here in our neighborhood. The facility will begin seeing patients next week.
