If your current health insurance plan is leaving your area, you may qualify for a Special Enrollment Period (SEP) to choose a new plan. But there’s an important step you don’t want to overlook!

📄 Keep all important paperwork from your current insurance company. This may include letters, emails, or notices explaining that your plan is ending or your insurance company is no longer offering coverage in your area.

Why? Your new insurance company or the Marketplace may ask you to provide proof of your plan exit before your new coverage can be finalized.

✅ Save your plan termination notice
✅ Keep emails and letters from your insurance company
✅ Take screenshots of important online notices
✅ Keep copies until your new coverage is active and confirmed
