This little insurance agent had to have emergency surgery over the weekend for a twisted and dead o***y 🙃 Very scary, very painful and 0/10 DO NOT recommend. But I am on the mend and feeling better! So much better I’m going to knock out some certifications during my downtime so I can continue to support my clients for 2027! 😃 My wonderful Local Insurance Advisors fam even sent me a little happy. There are many hard parts to being an insurance broker. Laws and regulations always changing, decisions being made at what seems like the last minute, keeping up with all the “dos and don’ts” that stay on a swivel.
But one of the most rewarding parts is when you get to build a genuine connection with the people you are helping. Your loyalty to them is reciprocated and relationships grow year after year.
Losing a member that you’ve established that kind of connection with is hard. You lose a smile and familiar laugh, you lose the conversations about fur babies and grandkids, and the anticipation of them walking into your office for their next review that may unintentionally turn into a much needed (not professional) therapy session.
Please send a prayer for a wonderful couple who have been with me for years now. She lost her husband, who was such a fun, loving soul! Their love for each other was something I really admired and hope to have one day! ♥️ 🕊️
