What a special visit this morning! ❤️

State Insurance Cares was honored to present a donation to The O.I.L.E. Organization and its Healing Stitches program in North Fort Myers.

Healing Stitches is a therapeutic program that empowers underserved and abused Hispanic women through education, social services, health initiatives and community outreach — while giving them an opportunity to use their talents to help others.

One beautiful example is the handmade puppy and kitty plushies these women create for children at the Children’s Advocacy Center. Each one is truly made with love and provides a little extra comfort to a child who may need it most. ❤️

We loved learning more about this incredible program and the women behind it. State Insurance Cares is proud to support Healing Stitches and the difference they are making — one stitch at a time. 🧵❤️

What an incredible morning at Hope and Joy Sanctuary in Alva! ❤️🐪🦘🐐

State Insurance Cares had the privilege of visiting this amazing sanctuary and presenting a donation to support the work they do. And WOW — what a place! From a camel, donkeys and goats to porcupines, capybaras, marmosets, kangaroos, wallabies and so many more, we were amazed at every turn.

But what impressed us most was the heart behind it all. Joy shared her story with us and her deep belief that God led her to Alva and to the work she is doing today. Her faith, compassion and love for these animals are evident everywhere you look.

Thank you, Joy, for the wonderful tour and for sharing Hope & Joy Sanctuary with us. We left with full hearts — and maybe a few new furry (and not-so-furry!) friends! ❤️

Today we had the privilege of presenting a State Insurance Cares donation to the Children's Advocacy Center of Southwest Florida, Inc.
We were given a tour and learned about the incredible work they do for children who have experienced abuse and trauma. The compassion, care, and resources they provide to children and their families are truly remarkable.

We also learned something everyone should know: in Florida, we are ALL mandatory reporters when we suspect child abuse or neglect. Awareness can help protect a child.
