It is with sadness that we announce that Beth Chapman, passed away on Wednesday, June 26, 2019.
She married Duane “Dog” Chapman in Hawaii in May 2006. They maintain residences in Hawaii and Colorado. Mrs. Chapman was a bail agent and television personality with a following nationwide.
Mrs. Chapman played a vital role within PBUS, (Professional Bail Agents of the United States) using her celebrity status to open doors in Washington, DC and numerous state legislators’ office across the country to advocate for the role commercial bail plays in the criminal justice system. Along with her husband Duane “Dog” Chapman, they starred on the show, “Dog and Beth: On the Hunt” on CMT in an effort to help struggling bail bond companies nationwide. Their first show, “Dog the Bounty Hunter,” ran for eight seasons on A&E. They were currently filming a new show called, “Dog’s Most Wanted,” on WGN America.
Mrs. Chapman was the youngest individual to ever receive her Colorado bail license until her stepdaughter Lyssa came into the bail industry. An astute businesswoman, Mrs. Chapman operated several retail stores and bail operations in Colorado and Hawaii.
