We still don’t know how our downtown fort myers office fared , but we just got power and internet at our home and will begin working remotely tomorrow. We apologize that we haven’t been able to be there for our clients up until this point, but we are all doing the best we can right now. As of the 11am update Elsa has strengthened into a Cat 1 Hurricane and is still tracking with Florida in the cone. When and exactly where Elsa makes landfall will depend on the track over the next few days. As of right now, no binding restrictions have been issued for the state of Florida, however we expect that to change very quickly.

Our agents are standing by to take calls for questions regarding your insurance policy and will be able to provide quotes and bind coverage until moratoriums on new business are issued. We will be extending our normal business hours until 7pm today, Friday June 2, and open tomorrow June 3 from 10am-2pm, or until binding restrictions are implemented.

While the cone of uncertainty for Isaias has shifted East, that doesn’t mean SWFL is in the clear. Check out the forecasted wind impacts and notice how almost the entire state is expected to see some effects from this storm. And, as always, remember that weather forecasting isn’t foolproof. Forecast tracks can change last minute, as it has happened many times in the past. Don’t be caught unprepared. The potential threat of Soon-to-be Tropical Storm Isaias could very well impact Florida.
