A few days ago, I had the honor of presenting college scholarships to some well deserving high school seniors. These just weren't any high school students, but were students who have overcame a cancer diagnosis and are now thriving!
This was a very moving moment to be a part of, as the students and their families were surprised by members of their medical team, Lee Health Foundation staff, and representatives from The Collaboratory, who oversaw the scholarship application and award process.
This is something that I would have never thought possible when Madisen's Match was first started over 15 years ago. It's amazing to be part of something that is making a significant and life changing impact on those who have been faced with unthinkable health challenges.
Thank you to everyone who helped make this possible, and here's to making a bigger and lasting impact in the years ahead!
