Hello friends!
We have some exciting news—Fr. Nate is coming to town!

Caroline and I attended Date with Fr. Nate at St. Gertrude last year, and we loved the experience so much that we were determined to bring him to our own diocese.

Thanks to the support of a fantastic team from across the Diocese for stepping up to help organize this incredible evening.

The event will take place at St. Joseph, Cold Spring, in their Memorial Hall, which offers the space we need. Even though it’s a large venue, the excitement around this event has been building fast—and we expect it to sell out quickly.

So, what is this?
Date with Fr Nate is just that, it's a date night out with your spouse. Married and engaged couples are invited to relax, laugh, and learn together as Fr. Nathan Cromly shares a message of hope and love that strengthens marriages and families. He uplifts and inspires with humor, encouragement and practical advice.

There will be heavy hors d’oeuvres, beer, wine, soft drinks with live music throughout the evening. Rumor has it there will be some dancing later in the evening! Let this date night be a step towards a more spiritually fulfilling and heavenly-focused marriage.

Today, we celebrate 142 years of fraternal spirit!

On May 24, 1883, Catholic Order of Foresters was founded at Church of the Holy Family’s Sodality Hall in Chicago by Thomas Taylor, an Irish immigrant and shoemaker with a dream to build a Catholic benevolent society that supports families in need.

Next week, our Home Office team will celebrate with a round of Founder’s Day trivia.
