Driving in Florida .........
Nobody prepares you for driving in Florida. One minute you’re cruising under perfect blue skies with palm trees swaying… next minute you’re gripping the wheel because the sky just turned black and dropped a full tropical storm on you out of nowhere.
You hit I-95 or the Turnpike and it looks simple — straight road, sunshine, smooth vibes — then boom… traffic. Out of nowhere. No warning. Just brake lights stretching to the horizon like it’s a lifestyle. Cones show up like they live there full-time. Lane closures, last-second merges, and that one stretch that’s been “almost done” since 2007. 😭
Traffic? Chill… until it’s not. Miami, Orlando, Tampa — everybody’s either doing 45 or 95, no in-between. One car is cruising, the next is weaving like it’s in a video game, and there’s always a rental car hesitating in the left lane trying to find Disney. Miss your exit? Congratulations… you’re on a 20-minute detour thinking about your life choices. 💀
And the weather? Oh it’s active. Sunshine → downpour → sunshine again like nothing happened. Visibility: zero. Speed: still 80. Hazards on? Of course. That’s the Florida group activity. 😅
Wildlife joins too. Empty road one second… next second a gator, a turtle, or something random just crossing like it owns the place. Because honestly… it does.
No shortcuts. No logic. Just heat, rain, traffic, tolls, and a little bit of chaos.
Unpredictable, fast, a little wild… but somehow — perfectly Florida. 🚗🌴☀️
