Unbelievable, if it wasn’t bad enough that innocent people are being scammed by fake bail bondsmen, now scammers are coming after bail agents in our state. Suffice it to say that should these fraudsters ever get caught, they can forget calling to get out of jail🤣😜🤬
⚠️⚠️‼️ URGENT WARNING TO EVERY FLORIDA BAIL AGENT: DO NOT CLICK THE LINK! ⚠️⚠️‼️
Scammers are impersonating the Florida Department of Financial Services and targeting bail agents with convincing phishing emails.
They may already have your:
⚠️ Agency name
⚠️ License and NPN numbers
⚠️ Business address
⚠️ Telephone number
THAT DOES NOT MAKE THE EMAIL LEGITIMATE!
One careless click could expose your passwords, financial information, business records—and potentially compromise your entire agency.
❌ DO NOT CLICK THE LINK
❌ DO NOT OPEN ATTACHMENTS
❌ DO NOT ENTER YOUR PASSWORD
❌ DO NOT PROVIDE BUSINESS OR BANKING INFORMATION
Go directly to the official Florida DFS website or contact DFS using a verified telephone number.
If you already clicked, stop what you are doing, secure your accounts immediately, and report the incident.
🔥 DON’T GET PLAYED BY A FAKE DEADLINE AND A PROFESSIONAL-LOOKING EMAIL. VERIFY FIRST. CLICK NOTHING.
Share this with every bail agent and agency employee you know. One warning could prevent an agency from being compromised.
