Palm Beach County Flood zones will be re-mapped 12/20/2024... in the following 30-90 days pay attention to the letters from your mortgage companies to find out if you will be required to purchase flood insurance. Feel free to contact me after 12/20 to see if you've been re-mapped.

To piggy back off the re-map/LOMA possibility. While many were rezoned in July to a flood zone - many are asking themselves should we buy flood insurance? Can we run the risk of financial loss? Everyone thinks it can't happen to them however the data shows differently. I can tell you that I have had clients who were not in a major flood hazard area experience a flood loss, thousands of dollars. Can you afford to potentially run this risk? Can the what "if" happen to me?
