💳✨ TIP TUESDAY — LET’S TALK APR! ✨💳

Everybody wants to know what’s considered a GOOD APR. The truth is, it depends on the market, your credit, the lender, the loan term, and how strong your overall profile is. For a car, I’d want you aiming for single digits if possible, and the lower the better. 🚗💰 For a mortgage, don’t get stuck on one magic number because home rates move with the market, you want the best rate available for YOUR profile at that time. 🏡🔑

The best way to get a lower APR? Strong credit, low balances, no recent late payments, manageable debt, steady income, a solid down payment, and SHOPPING AROUND instead of taking the first offer somebody gives you. 🏦📈 Lenders can price the exact same borrower differently, so compare banks, credit unions, dealers, and mortgage lenders before you sign anything.

And remember: APR is bigger than just the interest rate because it can also reflect certain loan fees. That’s why when you’re comparing offers, compare APR to APR, not just the monthly payment. 👀💳

Getting approved is good. Getting approved at a GOOD APR is the real win. 🔥

Y’all, 142,000 eviction filings in metro Atlanta is CRAZY. 😩🏡 And no, that doesn’t mean 142,000 different families were physically put out, but it DOES show how many people are struggling to keep housing right now.

Rent is high, groceries are high, car notes are high… one setback and somebody can fall behind FAST. 💸😩 That’s why I keep telling y’all, if buying a home is something you want to do, start getting in position BEFORE life forces your hand.

Work on the credit 💳 save your money 💰 get your income and banking together 🏦 and stop waiting until you NEED somewhere to stay to start preparing.

Because at the end of the day, having a stable place for you and your babies matters. 🥹🏡💛

Get in position before the emergency comes.

🥹🏡 I HAVE TO GIVE MY CLIENT HER FLOWERS TODAY! 💛

She started with me back in February with scores in the 500s, and her biggest goal for 2026 was to get herself and her three kids into their own home. She’s a single mom, she’s never rented before, and she’s been living with family her whole life. Today, she’s sitting around a 680 and officially PRE-APPROVED FOR A HOME! 😭🏡🔑

And make sure y’all understand, this was NOT an overnight process. She had to enroll in my program twice, which means she stayed in the process for about six months. She kept going, listened to the advice, opened credit-building accounts, added credit cards, kept her balances low, made her payments on time, got a credit limit increase, and stayed consistent. 💳📈
