Friends, family and policyholders, you’ve likely heard the news that State Farm will not be offering new homeowners, renters, boat and business policies (and a few others) in CA. You may be wondering why and how this will affect you.

First of all, we are still offering Auto Insurance, Life insurance and many others so you can still contact my office for a quote.

If you’re already a State Farm customer with one of the policies we are no longer offering, you don’t have to worry. You are not being cancelled or non-renewed.

However, if you’re a new homeowner looking for insurance, or need one of the other policy types, unfortunately we at State Farm won’t be able to assist you.

Like every business, State Farm is affected by market forces, and ultimately that is what has forced State Farm to make this decision.

As a proud State Farm Agent in our community, I’m saddened by this decision. As a small business owner I’m concerned about the impact this will have on my business and the lives of my team. However, having been part of the State Farm family for over 25 years I have complete faith and confidence that we are doing the right thing for the sake of our current policyholders and our Company.

The Carol Millsap State Farm office will continue proudly serve our community. Our team is committed to our policyholders and will continue to serve them proudly. Because, like good neighbors, my team and I are here.
