So open enrollment for 2026 has started.

Let me make this clear. This will be a very challenging enrollment for 2026 for most people. Rates have gone up from the insurance companies, and with less tax credits available, the cost is going up for almost everyone.

Do NOT let anyone lure you saying that you will get a plan for FREE, or any kind of grocery spending or rebate card.

There are programs that the companies do that give you money for surveys and healthy activities, but there are scammers or bad actors saying you will get thousands on a card to spend. Do not fall for it.

Honestly, I'm seeing higher prices for everyone, but we are trying to find creative ways to prevent it, either by changing companies or splitting coverage between family members.
