The Fordyce Redbugs punched their ticket to the state championship game Friday night against Booneville. Booneville Bearcats were averaging 50 points per game and over 500 yards a game in their playoff contests. The Redbugs held them to only 13 points and just under 250 yards of offense. They also denied the Bearcats any 3rd down conversions, 0-14. It's hard to pick a player of the game with stats like that. It was a team effort. Therefore, our Dallas County Farm Bureau Player of the Game is the entire defense! Congratulations on a fine defensive performance and good luck this weekend!

A December game ball means one thing. . . we are still playing football! In Friday's contest Bryant Robinson, the Fordyce center, had his hands full all night up against Mayflower's nose guard. On defense, Robinson finished the game with 10 tackles! Congratulations Bryant, you are the Dallas County Farm Bureau player of the game!

It's a great Monday to be a Redbug fan! Congratulations to the Fordyce Redbug football team on an outstanding game Friday night. There were too many great performances to pick just one player of the game! Micah Gamble had 31 carries for 294 yards and 4 touchdowns! On the defensive side of the ball, Kyo Randall had 16 tackles, 1 sack and one tackle for loss. It was a team effort and we are proud of you! Congratulations Micah and Kyo, you are the Dallas County Farm Bureau players of the game!

In the first round of playoffs, the Fordyce Redbugs continued their winning ways! Andreal "Cadillac" Ellison Jr. was 11/6 for 77 yards and 2 touchdowns, earning him the Dallas County Farm Bureau player of the week honors. Congratulations to Cadillac and the entire Redbug football team!

The Fordyce Redbugs ended the regular season schedule with an exciting win over Rison. Jamartez Stroud was outstanding in all aspects of the game. Stroud had 3 catches for 90 yards, and one touchdown. He had 90 total yards on returns, including punt returns and kickoffs. On the defensive side of the ball, Stroud had one interception at a critical point in the game that helped seal the win for the Redbugs. Congratulations, Jamartez, you are the Dallas County Farm Bureau Player of the Week!

Good afternoon! The Fordyce - Rison rivalry game Friday night was as expected, a nail-bitter! With the Battle of Highway 79 trophy on the line, the Redbugs brought the trophy back home with them. Our Dallas County Farm Bureau Player of the Week is TJ Harris. Harris had 9 tackles and one sack. Congratulations!

The Fordyce Redbug offense had a great game Friday night. Brothers, Micah and Noah Gamble are our Dallas County Farm Bureau Players of the game receiving a game ball. Micah had 29 carries for 289 yards, 3 touchdowns, and 6 tackles including 1 for lost yards. Noah had 11 tackles and 1 tackle for lost yards. They are pictured with their dad, Coach Gary Gamble. The coaches wanted to give a special shout out to the offensive line. Everyone knows that the stars can't shine without the bigs up front. Pictured: Kaiden Quimby, Vincent Stroud Jr, Daniel Warner, Bryant Robinson, Toshumbe Letbetter and Kyo Randall.

Good afternoon. Jamartez Stroud had a strong showing in the contest against Palestine Wheatley. Stroud had 4 receptions for 84 yards, 2 touchdowns and a 68 yard punt return for a touchdown. Congratulations, Jamartez! It's a privilege to give you the Dallas County Farm Bureau Player of the Week game ball!
