In just the last 48 hours, we have been notified of fake agricultural auction websites, and we want to help others avoid becoming a victim.

⚠️ Scammers are creating fraudulent auction sites and advertising equipment at prices that seem too good to pass up. In both recent cases, the buyers became suspicious when they noticed the same pieces of equipment were listed on legitimate auction platforms for significantly higher prices. Extremely low trucking rates below average market averages were also advertised.

🚨 Remember: once a wire transfer is sent, the money is often gone with little to no chance of recovery.

Before sending funds:

✅ Verify the auction company is legitimate.
✅ Compare listings across multiple trusted sources.
✅ Be cautious of unusually low prices.
✅ Call the auction company directly using a verified phone number.
✅ Trust your instincts if something doesn't feel right.

Stay vigilant. If a deal seems too good to be true, it probably is. Please share this post to help protect fellow farmers, landowners, and equipment buyers from costly scams.

Turns out we're not just good with dollars and cents... we're pretty good at floats, too! 🎉 Our FNB Bank Anita office participated in the Anita Whaletown Celebration Parade and brought home 2nd Place for our float! 🏆 A big thank you to everyone who helped make the weekend such a success.
